Our Community Garda Niall Russell brought the Garda Dog Unit in to visit the boys and girls in Good Shepherd.
We met Toby the black Labrador and Drake the German Shepherd. We learned how they are both working dogs and have a very important job to help Gardaí find narcotics, explosives and even to help find people that may have gone missing.
Toby and Drake were both very calm and friendly dogs. We got to ask their handler lots of questions and we were even allowed to pet our new furry pals!
