Autism Awareness Day

On Friday April 5th we celebrated Autism Awareness Day. The whole school dressed up in blue and donated 2 euro each to help raise funds for communication iPads for our class. There were lots of delicious blue icing cupcakes for the staff and class to enjoy. We also had a mini disco in the hall with Junior and Senior Infants which allowed the children in our class to integrate and have fun with other classes. Everyone really enjoyed themselves as we did the actions to all our favourite action songs together-Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, Singing Walrus Action song, Bounce Patrol- To the Music and Can’t Stop the Feeling. Altogether we raised over 410 euro which is amazing! Thank you so much to all who donated 🙂
