Home School

It’s been a busy few weeks in the Parent’s Room with an Arts n Crafts class running on Wednesday mornings. A very big Thank you to our tutor Grainne Doyle who expertly guided us in all things festive for the duration of the course. Lots of fun was had and friendships made!

We also had a wonderful Christmas Craft morning on November 30th last when Barbara Kerr mum of Jose in Senior Inrfants gave up her time to teach us how to make beautiful box framed Christmas scenes. A very special thank you to Barbara. Check out what we got up to in the photos below. More parent classes will run after Christmas – details will be available in the New Year.

On December 12th junior and senior infants, along with Ms. Shields class were invited up to St. Tiernan’s for a Christmas sing song and to meet Santa! There was great excitement as Santa appeared on the roof of the school having just parked up his sleigh and descended down the ladder to meet all the waiting boys and girls!!

Congratulations to all the children who attended ‘Movie Club’ in the shared area last week. This was a special treat for all children who have not yet missed a day from school this term.

Well done all and keep up the great work!

I hope everyone has a very happy and fun filled Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in 2018!!
