Junior Entrepreneur Project 2020

As part of the Junior Entrepreneur Project, we held a ‘Dragon’s Den’ today for the children to pitch their project ideas in groups. The four ideas in contention were home-made stickers, occasion frames, clay ornaments and stress/ fidget balls. Each group had to sell their product based on various criteria by presenting their research to the Dragons in attendance. The children were nervous but really rose to the occasion. They spoke eloquently and confidently, and the panel was extremely impressed by the individual ideas and the presentations given. The Dragons gave very constructive feedback and chose the project they felt had the most potential for success. Our chosen project will be Oobleck Balls! Well done to all the children in 6th Class and a big ‘thank you’ to our Dragons, Ms. Tierney, Ms. Hannigan, Ms. O’ Sullivan from DeLaSalle and Mr. O’Donovan from BCS. Keep an eye out for future updates on our JEP progress!
