Awards Ceremony 2022

On Friday June 24th we had our “End of Year Awards Ceremony” in the hall. It was a wonderful occasion where we recognised the many gifts and talents the boys and girls in our school have. We had awards for our whole school art competition, drama awards, a music award for our budding violinists, and a very special award in memory of our beloved past pupil Ross Edwards.

Children were also recognised for their reading accomplishments as well as academic awards for both Maths and English.

Two 6th class pupils were given recognition for their efforts at cycling safety this year and one of our lovely Moms was thanked as her youngest girl leaves primary school for her massive contribution to our PA over the last 14 years.

We had sports awards for both boys and girls which were “player of the season” and also a “best attitude” award.

Each class had a student of the year award and also a spirit of Good Shepherd award which is given to a boy or girl who encompasses all of the qualities we just love to see in our students.

Our overall student of the year was given to a 6th class girl who leaves us this year.

Check out the smiles in the photos from all of the happy faces today. A real feel good factor as the academic year draws to a close.
