Christmas Week In 1st Class

It was a very busy few weeks leading up to Christmas in 1st class. All the boys and girls did a wonderful job on the Christmas play “Elves on Strike”. Everyone knew their lines and didn’t put a foot wrong. Thanks to the parents for coming to support also.

Christmas week this year also coincided with Ms Stack’s retirement. Ms Stack has been of great support to 1st class since we started back in September and she will be missed by all boys and girls.

We chilled out on the last day of school before the holidays and decided to leave the books to one side for the day. We watched a few films and sang a few songs. It was great fun.

Halloween 2018

Where to start with Halloween 2018 in The Good Shepherd ?

It was a fun build up and ‘dress up day’ did not disappoint.

We had the lot. Zombie footballers, witches, ghosts, vampires, wolverines and little red riding hood.

We also had a visit from our local Garda to remind us to stay safe at Halloween.

Enjoy the week off.

Stay Safe.

Golden Time

Golden Time Wednesdays!

With all the hard work there has to be some much needed Golden Time. This usually happens on Wednesdays if we have time. All the boys and girls like creating, constructing learning to work together. Some pupils are already in the early stages of planning the new Churchtown bypass.
